Area was one of the most important bands of the Italian progressive rock scene in the early seventies.
In 2010, Patrizio Fariselli, Paolo Tofani, and Ares
Tavolazzi reunited for a performance at New York's Brecht Forum, accompanied by
Italian session drummer Walter Paoli, and former collaborator Mauro Pagani on
violin and vocals.
The performance included their version of Frank Zappa's 'King Kong'.
