"1994 German bootleg CD Puller Man on German Records 041 is again a
collection of "unofficial recordings" starting with the bootlegger's
favourite Metal Man Has Lost His Wings (albeit the 1st time pressed on CD). It
incorporates the Avalon radio broadcast & early A&M / Buddha demos plus
6 cuts from John Peel's BBC 1968 radio sessions (tracks 13 - 18) As to that
which we are accustomed.. it has the usual b**ls up with the dates and
locations, worse still for some unknown reason applause and clapping is added
before and after each song (which is infuriating) as the majority are studio
recordings88
NB This CD is taken from the 2 x Life & Times Of.. btlgs and could have been
better omitting the dubbed applause."
