they didn't skip the complex instrumental bridge, they just did it in a style true to the joe's garage concept: you only hear the saxophone doing the long notes. it's alright.
in june 1995 they played this song at paradiso, amsterdam with some vocal accompaniment by the persuasions. isn't it amazing...  i've got a video of that one!
