Shortly after german band Sheik Yerbouti did their last concert in 2011, the band split up into The Grandsheiks and Frank Out!

Frank Out! kicked off as :

The band performed at Zappanale #26.
Wednesday, July 15, 2015, concert 'St Katharinenkirche', Hamburg, Germany, and Saturday, July 18 at the festival ground in Bad Doberan.

When Harry Sebel left the band, he was replaced by Michael Fritsche.
