hot rats

soon after morgan agren and mats öberg had met, they formed a band called hot rats.  the band played some frank zappa music as well as tunes by the beatles, weather report and original material.

the zappa tunes included 'bobby brown', 'king kong', 'dog breath', 'you are what you is' and 'jumbo go away'

a couple of years later, morgan agren and peter öberg were in a band called zober, playing straight rock.  after a short time the band decided that they wanted to play frank zappa's music, so they called mats öberg and formed zappsteetoot, playing only zappa music.
