he seems to play on a leon kottke album regards from chuck pink, as does buell neidlinger (see http://www.itascasw.com/kottkeconnection/reviews/regards.html) bass player on ponty's king kong.
also there's a 'marty krystall spatial quartet'  that has recorded 'seeing unknowm colors' on ma records (http://www.marecordings.com/)

multi-reedman marty krystal is well known in "the business" for his work with aretha franklin, peter erskine and bassist buell neidlinger. this recording took place almost on the spur of the moment with trumpeter hugh schick, bassist yasushi yoneki and drummer takumi iino. besides the group's hard driving renditions of monk tunes and their sensitive rendition of "prelude to a kiss, of special note are marty's arrangements of three native american papago songs. a must listen!

steely dans donald fagen has produced an album for marty:
the eighties: df pens tunes for artists including diana ross, manhattan transfer, jennifer warnes and yellowjackets. he co-produces the soundtrack album for bob telson's musical "the gospel at colonus", and composes the score for the film, "bright lights, big city". he also writes a column for premiere magazine.  becker produces albums for china crisis, rickie lee jones, and various jazz artists, including bob sheppard, john beasley, jeff beale, andy laverne, marty krystall, the lost tribe, dave kikoski, and leeann ledgerwood.

an intense tenor saxophonist influenced a bit by the sound of ben webster but open to adventurous improvisations, marty krystall has appeared in several of buell neidlinger's groups through the years. he has worked as a studio musician in los angeles since the late '70s, helped run the k2b2 label and has recorded with neidlinger in krystall klear and the buells, buellgrass (later renamed string jazz), the group thelonious and a recent tribute to herbie nichols.
