in his book "saint urbain's horseman", mordechai richler descirbes a scene in which characters jake hersch and his friend harry are one trial for sodomizing a young german woman.  the act was recounted: "she treatened to scream for help.  which is when he put a record on, "lumpy gravy" by frank zappa, playing it very loud indeed."
