jeff buckley
before he got 'famous', jeff buckley was a part of gary lucas' gods & monsters band.
his first album, "grace", included a couple of tracks that feature and were co-written by gary lucas.
"songs to no one 1991-1992" also presents material jeff did with former beefheart guitarist gary lucas in these early years. on 2002/10/14, cucamonga chatted with lucas and with mary guibert (jeff buckley's mom) about this album.
I don’t know if it happened often, but Jeff Buckley played a Residents cover in concert at ‘Arlene’s Grocery’, NYC, on 1997/02/09.
