this is such a fine band - not because i had a guitargroup with the same name in amsterdam during the early 60's.  if they did not record a zappa song then i would never have heard of them and that would be a shame. well, this must be (let me check this out) the 14th or so cover of willie the pimp, but this one is more special with some tex-mex and swamp influences. the cd also has a cover of the captain's too much time. and what about grieg's sonata opus 7 on steel drums as an intro for gypsy king. besides the steel drums there is a piano, organ, accordion, baritone horn, guitar, bass, drums, percussion, trumpet and saxophones. recorded los angeles 1995 .
