Firstly, thanks again for the credit on your site about the events at the Rainbow in 71.  A week or two ago I spoke to a guy who was there that night, and went backstage after Zappa was injured.  There was some variation in the accounts I read of what had happened when the assailant was caught, but my informant says that 2 ambulances turned up: the first one to take away Mr Howell - who had indeed been apprehended by angry roadies - and the second for the victim himself!

Secondly, I'm changing my ISP at the moment, so those pages are in the process of being moved to a slightly different location:
