in the summer of 1995, olli virtaperko, jonte knif and ere lievonen (resp. cello, harpsichord & harpsichord) performed 'uncle meat' (frank zappa) at the final concert of a music summer course.
jasu moisio was present in the audience and soon joined them to form the ensemble ambrosius.
