the rhode island college wind ensemble is a balanced 60-piece wind band which performs major works from the repertoire, emphasizing works originally written for winds and percussion. four concerts are performed annually, with one of these at an off-campus venue.
in 2001 they performed zappa's 'dog breath variations'.
