Belgian jazz guitar player René Thomas (1926 - 1975) recorded several sessions in Paris, France.

In 1954 he recorded an album with his quintet called "René Thomas Et Son Quintette". The quintet included Buzz Gardner on trumpet.

The album was rereleased on cd in 1999.
All the tracks of this album can also be found on a compilation album from 1999.
