frank zappa - unreleased recordings

           - testpressing only

this 4 lp set did not get released because of difficulties with warner brothers.  it was to be the first release on zappa records and it was to come out on october 31, 1977.  most of the pieces are different from versions that came out on later vinyl albums.

frank zappa himself presented the whole 4 lp set during an american radio broadcast.

soon thereafter, bootleg recordings of the radio broadcast (and of the testpressing as well) were circultating.

eventually, the entire project got released on cd in 1996.
