Norwegian band Team Zappa took part in the 2007 edition of the Zappanale festival.

Team Zappa consists of:

2007 07, a couple of questions for Mika:

- how about playing at Zappanale? have you played bigger festival before? have you heard of / visited Zappanale before?

We´re scheduled to play at Zappanale on Saturday August 5th! It´s gonna be sooooo fun, I can hardly wait!
We´ve played at a few semi-big Norwegian festivals, in front of an audience from 300 to 800, so Zappanale will be the biggest festivals we´ve played at - yet! ;-)

None of us have visited Zappanale before, we heard about it for the first time in 2005 when we played our first concert in our hometown Tromsø, and some guy who travelled all the way from Oslo (1.45 hours away by plane) to see us told me about the festival! They wouldn´t have us in 2006, but we`re more than happy to be perfoming at the 2007-festival! :-)

- are you preparing anything special? a demo? a release?

Well, nothing like that yet, but if you want to, you can check out a 8 min demo at www.fredglesnes.no (Fred is the sax-player) - and if you have an account on Facebook, you`ll find a page there, simply called Team Zappa. There, you will find a few pictures and info about the band in English and German.
