lou marini
lou marini was in the most holy of blues bands, the 'blues brothers band' for
a while. he was in the movie and
was also in the saturday night live band for a long while.
he's cool...
nothing recent, but interesting (?) nonetheless: was a blues brother, both in
the 1st film (never saw the second) and on tour.
in the film he joins 'the mission from god' in the scene where aretha
franklin sings 'think'.

lou's name is in fact marini not marino. lou played with blood, sweat and
tears on the album new blood. toured with that version of b,s&t for about a
year in '72-'73. also played with the saturday night live band in the late '70's
and early '80's. he has done studio work with a large number of artists.

malone and lou marini were both definitely saturday night live
members. they're both also in the blues brothers movie.

Tom Malone and Lou Marini played on an album of a very
wellknown french jazzsinger and composer named Claude Nougaro. The album is
called "Nougayork", recorded in New York City. (WEA music (1987)

Taylor is pleased to announce a one-night only performance at The Event
Center at Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, NY, on May 18,
2011.
