and there's some nice zappa references in movies willy geets spotted the last couple of weeks:

• "der trip - die nackte gitarre 0.5" is a movie from 1995 by wolfgang büld.  during a flash-back, one of the characters finds himself in a room with the famous zappa-on-the-toilet poster.  the next shot (same flash-back) is someone else sitting on the toilet.  no coincidence possible.
  

• and the reference in "le péril jeune - 1975" is even better.  this one is from 1993 and by cédric klapisch.  the scene is about a female teacher who has an affair with one of her students.  the teacher (english class?) is reviewing zappa's 'dirty love'.  the classroom has the same zappa-on-the-toilet poster on the wall and during the review all the students are making obscene gestures...

i added both to the 'references' to frank zappa by other artists  (not in music)
