Somewhere in the mid eighties, The Politicians performed Frank Zappa's 'Pygmy Twylyte' in concert.
The band consisted of Joe Newman, Gregg Leinweber, Brooks Coleman and Dave Irwin.
A recording of 'Pygmy Twylyte' can be found on a Joe Newman compilation called "Droplets On The Rim - Volume 1".
