Andrés Mastrangelo lives in Uruguay.

Andrés Mastrangelo is featured as a guest on the Arte Rupestre contribution to the "Unmatched Five & Sex" album. He is also featured in Hijosdecortés, another band that can be found on the same album.

He plays the bass in Zappallitos, a band that contributed to the "Unmatched" Zappa tribute series. He also contributed 'Easy Meat' to the "Unmatched" volume seven.

In 2005, Andrés Mastrangelo released his first solo album, "Dis Is Da Candombe". It included Frank Zappa's 'He's So Gay'.
The same track can also be found (as a hidden track) on his second album "+ D Lo Mismo".

For the "Unmatched 8" album, Andrès Mastrangelo contributed Frank Zappa's 'Camarillo Brillo'.
"Unmatched 9" included his rendition of Frank Zappa's 'Be Bop Tango'.
