ossi duri

Ossi Duri, sometimes refered to as the Baby Snakes Band, is an italian band that also plays compositions by Frank Zappa.  They have recorded a couple of albums playing Zappa material, and contributed to various Frank Zappa tribute albums.

Ossi Duri also featured Ike Willis as a special guest on guitar and vocals for a tour in 2000 and in 2003.

In 2005, Ossi Duri recorded an album with Elio, called "Gnam Gnam".

On July 4, Ossi Duri will present thei new movie called "LA IV" at Cafè des Art, via principe amedeo, at the corner with via s. massimo, at 9. pm, Turin.

The DVD movie contains only live performances between 2006 and 2007, with mainly original tunes, plus Florentine pogen with italian rock star Elio, (this song i authorized directly from Gail Zappa, Frank 's wife). In the extra menu there also a live perfomance of the Ossi Duri with David Surkmap, Pavlovìs dog Leader, from a tv show in Italy on 2001.

It's a movie about their imaginary world with animation, like Bruce Bickford, and some fiction. With this dvd Ossi Duri start to release material for their own label "LaZaRiMus": they would like to theri contribution to the bands that have "no commercial potential"
