ben watson Ben Watson wrote the book "Frank Zappa - The Negative Dialectics Of Poodle Play", published by Quartet Books in 1994. The author can also be heard on an album by Paul Minotto's PrimeTime Sublime Community Orchestra and on a retrospective album of the 14th edition of the Zappanale festival. Starting In 2007, Ben Watson contributed a Zappa Quiz to the Zappanale Festival. November 2008, Ben took part in the "Concert For Jimmy", a concert / festival / project to raise money for Jimmy Carl Black's family. For the occasion, he recited a poem for Jimmy.. The 2010 awardation featured Camel Dave, Amaretto Mick, Camel Dave, Ob, Dave, NotPedro, Tim, Wolfram and Chato. An audio recording of this awardation got seeded at Zappateers. August 2012, Ben Watson's contribution to the Zappanale festival consisted of a lecture on Captain Beefheart. The picture on the right was taken on this occasion by Bazbo.
